About Me

Hi, I'm Therese. I am an independent artist and printmaker based in Limerick, in the southwest of Ireland. Following a long career in graphic and web design, I returned to fine art through printmaking, drawn to the considered and meditative process of linocut.

Initially developed as a personal practice to cope during a period of significant stress, my work gradually evolved into a sustained artistic focus. I now regularly participate in local markets, and show work with a local art collective.

My practice is inspired by nature, native Irish wildlife, and Irish mythology, alongside occasional imagined or anthropomorphic animal forms.

Each of my prints are created entirely by hand using traditional relief techniques and printed with professional relief inks on hand-torn archival fine art paper ensuring the best longevity for your artwork.
